# Legacy.Fax overview

The `WCF` project (`SAIF.Services.WCF.Host`) carries a generated SOAP client proxy for the remote `` `FaxService`† `` so that its own hosted `FaxService.SendFax` operation can hand off outbound fax delivery to that external system, one recipient at a time.

## Purpose
- Deliver an outbound fax on behalf of the locally hosted `FaxService.SendFax` operation by calling the remote `` `FaxService`† `` operation `Send` once per recipient.

## Business context

The called service accepts a fax job — a temporary attachment path plus recipient name and fax number — and returns no acknowledgement body, so this repository delegates the entire outbound fax transmission and has no way to observe success or failure beyond a SOAP fault.
